These handy resources help identify ponies from 1930 - 2005 as listed in various magazines and journals and ties it all together utilizing the Welsh Stud Books as the definitive source for details.

The original work from which Hoof Prints takes its lead is the booklet entitled "Picture Index Of Registered Welsh Ponies" by Mrs. Horace N. Stevens, Jr. which lists published photos from 1930 - mid-1965. HOOF PRINTS covers all of 1965 and furthers this earlier work through eight volumes as follows:
